The Marabou is a first grade material and there is a variety of colours available
The range of Colours is White, Pink, Orange, Brown, Gray, Tan, Purple, Reach, Red, Yellow, Chartreuse and Olive
The uses of the marabou in Fly tying is endless.
You can make a tail section with one colour or with two or even three colours by taking a bit of the fibers and pinching them together and tying it to your hook, the Marabou gives movement to the fly and pulsate in the water when you retrieve the Fly. Tale a pit of superglue on the shank of the hook before you ty the marabou down that will make your fly stronger.
By Making a dubbing loop with a dubbing tool ( https://www.cmffly.co.za/product-category/shop-by-brand/cmf-fly-fishing/cmf-fly-tying-tools/cmf-dubbing-tools/ ) you can cut some fibers of the feather and place it in the dubbing loop and add some Krystal Flash (https://www.cmffly.co.za/product-category/shop-by-brand/hends/hends-synthetic-materials/hends-krystal-flash/ ) then spin the dubbing tool to make a Bruch that you can turn around the hook for the body of the fly
